I am a former PTA Vice President, long-standing supporter and devoted volunteer.

I can no longer sit quietly on the sidelines. I want to teach not only my children, but the children of Chesapeake that some times the change you want to see happen starts with your own voice.

We must collaborate with parents and the community to educate and inspire our children to become healthy adults, responsible citizens, critical thinkers and problem solvers. 

 

I have been in sales for over twenty years and I am currently a bulk account manager for Coca Cola where I oversee millions in revenue and expenses annually.  I have expertise in managing large budgets, reviewing return on investments for customers and working with multiple teams. My career focus is on strategy, collaboration,  and teamwork. The backbone of my job is helping to build a positive work culture and I have accomplished just that through my friendly demeanor and ability to disagree fearlessly and respectfully.

I believe in our school system and would love to continue to work with our newly elected members and offer fresh ideas where warranted. I enjoy exercising, thrifting with my daughter, trying new foods,  and strengthening my relationship with our Heavenly Father each day. I am my daughters biggest cheerleader during band season and can not wait to cheer her on as Drum Major at Oscar Smith High School.
